"TOP TIPS" FOR STALLHOLDERS
Arrive at the Hall early on the day (access from 9 am) to ensure a relaxed set up and to make sure you’re ready once the doors open. The first hour is usually the busiest and it can be a bit chaotic to start with.
Don't bring too much as the tables are not huge (1.8m x 0.75mapprox) and you will want to be able to showcase your goods. It can be overwhelming for the buyer to see too much on a table and can put them off from browsing.
Have realistic prices.
Ensure the prices are secure and clear on the items for sale.
Set out your clothes by size and quality. Have signs telling people what sizes you have and what gender - people are generally after one thing.
Take the time to tidy and re-sort your stuff when there is a bit of a lull.
Have plastic containers for rummaging through – this works really well.
If you are selling toys that require batteries try and ensure they have batteries in them so that buyers can test everything is in working order.
Make sure you have plenty of change and plastic bags for packing goods into.
